Before you hire a marketing consultant, check how they think — test ours on your own message.

Hiring a consultant means trusting how they think before you can see results.

Here you can check that first: run one of your own marketing messages through our Signal Check, on this site.

That is the standard behind this page.

What you can actually check

There are several ways to evaluate HopNxt before making a decision.

You can inspect the reasoning behind S2N — our marketing diagnostic method.

You can use Signal Check to experience a limited part of that diagnostic perspective on one real marketing message.

And you can examine our own work for evidence of our standards, decisions and process.

Each tells you something different.

Inspect the reasoning

S2N — Signal-to-Noise — is HopNxt's marketing diagnostic method.

Its starting point is simple: diagnose before prescribing.

S2N doesn't begin by deciding that the problem is SEO, messaging, conversion, targeting or something else. It starts with the response being produced and follows the available evidence before deciding what deserves changing.

A useful diagnosis separates what the evidence supports from what remains a hypothesis, uncertain or unknown.

You can inspect the method and the reasoning behind it in more depth.

Test the perspective

Signal Check is the free front door to S2N.

Give it one real marketing message and it applies a limited part of the diagnostic perspective to that message.

It is deliberately narrower than the full S2N method. Its value here is simple: instead of only reading about the thinking, you can experience part of it for yourself.

Different evidence answers
different questions

Method evidence

lets you evaluate how HopNxt approaches diagnosis, evidence, uncertainty and possible causes.

Experiential evidence

lets you encounter part of that perspective directly. Signal Check does this with one marketing message.

Own-work evidence

lets you inspect the standards, judgment, decisions and process visible in HopNxt's own work.

Client-outcome evidence

answers a different question: what changed for a client in the context of the work.

HopNxt does not currently publish documented client-outcome case studies.

These forms of evidence are useful for different reasons. Keeping them distinct makes it clearer what each one actually establishes.

What our own work can show you

Our own website and marketing are part of what you can inspect.

Look at how an argument is structured. How a service is defined. What has been included or excluded. How claims are bounded. How one page relates to another. How a decision has been made.

That work gives you something concrete to judge: our standards, decisions and process.

It does not establish what HopNxt has achieved for a client. That requires client-outcome evidence.

What client evidence should establish

When we publish client-outcome evidence, it should make the result easier to evaluate, not simply make it sound impressive.

A useful account should make clear what changed, what evidence supports that conclusion, the relevant context and what remains uncertain.

The evidence should carry the claim.

Check the thinking for yourself

You don't need to make a decision about HopNxt from assertions alone.

Inspect the S2N method if you want to understand the reasoning in more depth.

Or bring one real marketing message to Signal Check and experience a limited part of the diagnostic perspective for yourself.
